Celebrating the 100th Day of School {2 Easy to Prep & Manage Activities}

This year I am trying hard to build up our classroom family as often as possible. I try to celebrate a variety of holidays and the 100th Day is  no exception to that. Aside from Valentine's Day, it's my favorite holiday, I think! But, this year there is so much going on that I knew I'd have to keep it simple and sweet.
Our 100th day isn't until early February so we have been adding positive memories to this anchor chart that I hang in my classroom. The thing that I love about this is that (1) you only need sticky notes, (2) it asks the kids to reflect back on positive memories and (3) the kids actually have fun doing it and sharing their answers!
Here is one of the student's answers up close and person. I give my students tiny pictures of my dog, Shilah as rewards (like a sticker chart) and 50 is a milestone. When I saw that this meant something to one of my students, well... you know my eyes welled up big time!
One other super easy and quick activity that I want to show you that takes place on our 100th day are these lovely crowns from Mrs. D's Corner. She has a whole pack of free resources for this day! #score.

All you  need for these crowns are construction paper and either colored cardstock or you could simply copy her template and allow your students to color them!
My students L.O.V.E.D. these crowns last year, so I know they will adore them just as much as I do again this year!

Thanks for stopping by today, friends! For more fantastic 100th Day of School ideas, please stop by these other blogs below (just click on the picture!).
