Fall Blog Hop

Hey y'all and happy fall! Today I am joining some friends to be part of a special blog hop that talks all things fall in the classroom! I am going to show you a couple of my favorite fall routines so that you can feel like you know me and my classroom a little better. And.... hopefully you'll get some ideas for yourself that you can use in your classroom!
I love reading books with my students together as a class so that we start building our little community of learners. This was one of the books that we read this month. Ready, Set, School! is a story about a little Raccoon who learns how to deal with his anxiety about school. This book is fun to read with the students because even teachers have anxiety about school! It's like when we are reading it, we are learning together!
Another routine I have is attempting to keep myself organized. I try and try every year and I seem to be doing better this year with this desk calendar. It's so pretty, right? September was filled with a lot of school dates, meetings, and personal info that I wanted to show you a clean, fresh month. Yep, that's my wedding anniversary on there!
A third routine is finding a spot to showcase student work. This year I have my student "Wall of Fame." The kids are loving it so far and I love that I can change out the work as needed because it's clipped on with a close pin! It's so easy and quick!

Lastly, you can grab these free student information cards to give out at Back to School Night, Open House, or just to send home with your students. I love them because they are easy to grab in case of an emergency!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to hop through to see all of the other ideas! Next, you can hop on over to Lisa's blog to see what she is sharing for fall! Have fun!

  1. I always write my anniversary and birthdays on my big calendar too :) It's nice to see personal reminders on a calendar full of meetings and to do's!

Thanks for being part of the hop!
