Back to School Bash

It's that time of the year again... you  know... where we're all happy, excited, and a bit anxious to get our classrooms perfect for our new students! Because my classroom feels like my home away from home, I know I want everything to be just right for the first day of school. Does that always happen? No! I've been teaching for quite a few years now and I am still learning how to manage my time best and which decorations / anchor charts to put up for the first day of school.

Well... good news friends... All of the bloggers from The Elementary Entourage are bringing you tons of lessons, tips, ideas, and FREEBIES to help you prepare for the first few weeks of school. We know you may already be working hard in your classrooms by now, but it's always fun and helpful to pick up a few new things along the way, right?

This is a reading comprehension freebie that I wanted to share with you! There are 8 reading strategies that you can use with your whole group, small group, or one on one!

Here's a closer look at some of the strategies! I like to first use them in my small reading groups and then hang them in my classroom as anchor charts. I really hope you find them helpful and meaningful while teaching reading! Enjoy!!!
