Setting up for Saint Patrick's Day + a FREEbie!

Who doesn't love Saint Patrick's Day? A day for green at school and shepard's pie at home!

At school we’re all about having the perfect class decor! We made some door signs which explain why we are so lucky!

It’s important to always start writing with a plan A.K.A. a graphic organizer. My students used this four square to map out four ideas of why they believe they are lucky!
Allowing them to write four responses not only shows them quite a few reasons they are lucky but it also allows them to choose one idea to write on their sign. I’m all about giving students choices when it’s appropriate.

Then, the students cut out their four leaf clovers for their door signs!

Whalah! Or as my second graders have started saying.... "Look at the cuteness!" They may or may not have gotten that little saying from moi!
Have a a whale of a time creating these signs with your students!

If you are looking for any more Irish themed resources for this week check these out in my store...
